- [Instructor] You've seen what AI tools can do, but before they can help, you'll need to set them up. Fortunately, this part doesn't take very long. But doing it right makes a huge difference. So let's walk through how to get started with tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Google Gemini. I'll also show you where things can go wrong and how to avoid certain frustrations. First up, ChatGPT. If you haven't already, head on over to chat.openai.com or chatgpt.com and create an account. The free tier gives you access to GPT 3.5, which honestly is a really solid starting point. Once you've signed in, take a minute to adjust your settings. Under Settings, Data controls, you can disable model training based on your questions and answers. Now, remember though, this won't remove the security risk of sending sensitive data to the cloud, only that that data shouldn't be used in future AI model training.
