Understanding the SMART goals framework
Now, let's talk about using AI tools to draft and improve employee goals. You can use any goal-setting method, smart, OKRs, KPIs, whatever you and your company use. What matters the most is that you're consistent, you're setting goals for your team, and you're reviewing them regularly. AI can save you time and bring more clarity when you get stuck drafting goals. That's what's so amazing. Here's why having clear goals is so important. Setting goals drives better employee performance and engagement. And goals help everybody know what's expected, and they create accountability. An AI tool can help you refine, personalize, and even track goals, or just help you brainstorm when you need a jumpstart. Now let's break down the SMART goal structure. Remember, you can use a different one, but I'm using SMART right now. Here's how I define SMART. The S is specific, clear and focused, not vague.
