Accessing agent mode in Cursor
- [Instructor] As its slogan suggests, Cursor, the AI code editor, comes with AI pre-installed. So, unlike VS Code where the AI features come in through GitHub Copilot, in Cursor, they are baked into the editor itself. Now, just a note for this course, Cursor and VS Code are very, very similar, and you'll notice that even the AI features work in a very similar way and look very similar, so I have changed a color theme for Cursor to be this green color, whereas VS Code is a dark black color so you can visually see which editor I'm in, because neither of these editors really declare themselves. To get to the Cursor AI Editor, you open the right hand sidebar, exactly as with VS Code and GitHub Copilot. From here, you can now choose Edit, Ask or Agent. If you've used Cursor in the past, the Agent used to be called the Composer and used to be a separate feature, but it's now been fully baked into the overall feature, and I think that's because most of the time people are likely going to…
