- [Instructor] Here's a unique effect that can create a depth map from images and videos, using AI, of course. The resulting depth map can be used for a variety of post-production processes tasks, like post depth of field, adding fog, depth-based grading, slicing, and even stereo 3D effect. It's super easy to use, and usually works quite well right out of the bat. I'll apply it to this multi-level junction highway clip I have here, and almost instantly, we can see a grayscale depth map estimation that was generated automatically from the clip. Now, you have few models to choose from. Couple of them are deprecated. I'm going to stick with this accurate 2023. There's another one over here if you want to give it a try. You also have some resolutions that you can choose from, so if you're in a rush and want a faster result, then you can reduce the resolution.
