As a video content creator, there are a number of ways I acquire assets for video. Some of these are shot on a live set. Other assets come from what other people have shot in the form of stock or from previous engagements. Sometimes stock video sources require searching multiple libraries to find the perfect asset for a cut or to highlight a point. Now with generative AI, you type it and there's video. No actors, production, or expensive camera gear required. You enter a text prompt of the video you want, or a still image reference, and voila, AI gets to work creating an entirely new video based on the tons and tons of data it was trained on.
