- In Agile projects, there are meetings designed to move through work that creates a pattern for addressing its most basic needs. Over time, these meetings add more information that define and detail the product being built. One of the most standard of these meetings is backlog grooming. Backlog grooming is a meeting held to discuss user stories or tickets that have been created to bring about the creation of a product. While this meeting often only includes the product owner and various other stakeholders on the team, it's a great place for testers too. I would argue that any place a decision is being made about the way a product is being built is a great place for a tester. At this meeting, questions are asked about user stories that are being suggested.
