- Agile helps us focus on small amounts of work we can complete and get feedback on. We only spend time on making detailed plans for short periods of time, and keep the rest at a high level. During this process, one of the recurring events we have to keep us on track is daily coordination. In disciplined agile, we call this the daily coordination meeting. It's not a status meeting, rather it's a very short meeting, usually 15 minutes or less, designed to focus on the work in progress, and on what might be blocking a team member from completing their work. The history of this technique goes back to what was called the daily stand up meeting. The team goes into a conference room where all the furniture has been removed, yes, an empty room.
