Plan with user stories
- Have you ever been given a project requirements document that was so volumous it was hard to read? These project requirement specs can take months to complete. Most Agile approaches have a product backlog that is the primary source of requirements. That backlog is comprised of small requirements called stories. This story took about a minute to write and another 10 to 15 minutes to capture its acceptance criteria. This document took over three months to write, and after numerous attempts, it finally got approved. Adopting an Agile way of working provides tremendous benefits. The one at the top of my list is that it enables you to do a little bit of work and validate it by getting very quick feedback. I'm Joshua Barnes and I've been coaching and training teams and organizations to get the benefits of Agile for over 20 years. I will show you many examples of how to put Agile to work and give you practical advice on how to embrace Agile.
