- [Instructor] Hello, and welcome to After Effects Weekly. As you may recall from previous episodes in this series, I've showed you a couple of times how to render an MP4 file from After Effects. This was achieved either by sending the composition to render in Media Encoder or by using a third-party extension. Well, not anymore. I'm glad to inform you that we can now render MP4 files directly from After Effects render queue, as we could do many years ago. Now, I'm tempted to explain why Adobe removed this function, but at the risk of being too geeky, and for time's sake, I think I'll just show you how to do it using After Effects 2023 and higher. So first, make sure that you're using the latest version of the app. And then let's add this composition to the render queue.
