- [Eran] Welcome to AE Weekly, I'm Eran Stern and today I'll show you how to key out a green screen footage and maintain all these fine details of hair. I'll also show you a cool method of matching colors between the foreground and the background. So, what we have here is this nice clip from Adobe Stock, of this lovely girl with a lot of fine details in her curly hair, and underneath there's this nice particles background, and obviously we want to create a convincing composite. All right, so I'll pause the playback, I'll select the layer over here, I'll go to effect and under key, I'll select key light to start the process. I'll click to select the eye dropper, click once to sample the colors, and I'll immediately switch to the screen matte, so I can see the quality of my key, and obviously we need to fold down the screen matte properties, and maybe play with the clip black, just a touch as well as clip white, so…
