- [Instructor] In this week episode, we will explore another option to create a liquid simulation inside After Effects, this time by using the glue gun effect, an old-school effect that isn't used so often. I guess because it is less straightforward than other effects. But I still find it quite useful, and I want to show you what you can do with it. So we are starting with this composition where I have the background over here, and this background also have two effects, the exposure and the fast box blur. If I'm going to dismiss it, we can see that it is quite a busy watery background, and it's quite important to use something like this in order to get the best out of this technique. Alright, so I'm going to pause the playback and I'm going to go to the beginning. I'm also going to hide the liquid text layer for a moment, and I'm going to re-enable those two effects.
