- [Instructor] Today I'm going to show you two ways to become a better parent here inside After Effects. The first one will help you to snap layers together and the second is a cool trick that will overcome the main limitation of parenting inside After Effects which is to make the child inherit the opacity of its parent layer. So to demonstrate it I already have this drone footage which I tracked over here. This was shot by my friend Yishai Shapir. And if I'm going to select it and then click on the name of the effects the 3D camera tracker, as well as pause the video for a moment, we can see all the little trackers. This means that I can try to triangulate a plane over here and in this case I'm going to choose this one and then I'm going to right click and then I'm going to create a solid which will be our first placeholder.
