- Hello and welcome to After Effects weekly. In this episode, I'll show you how to create a social media handle animation that you can save as a preset. But this time, I'll use shape layers instead of masks. If you don't know what I mean, I suggest checking the previous tip where I demonstrated how to create a logo watermark using masks and effects. Now, what we are seeing here is the final result, this is me in my studio, introducing one of my courses. And although I look out of sync, it illustrate well the animation that we are going to create. All right, so I'll escape out of full screen and we are going to start from scratch. Actually, not completely from scratch, I'm going to use this Illustrator design that I've prepared ahead of time and drag it to the make new composition icon.
