- [Instructor] To save time, I already created the After Effects project we'll use. In this project, you'll find several compositions each synced with its corresponding lesson in this chapter. However, I urge you to use the Versus 1 composition and build all the elements step by step as we go along. Before we begin, let's review what we have here. I'll press the Spacebar key to preview the composition. And as you can see, there are three main elements, a stationary background, two placeholder layers with the contestants, the versus circle between them, which also has two alternative versions. Let's quickly review the layers by soloing them and examining their properties. Starting with the background, which is just a shape layer with the gradient ramp effect. On top of it is the lightning layer, featuring a lightning path that repeats itself using the repeater operator. Next, we have two groups of three layers, each with similar color labels.
