Manage Facebook ad placements
- [Speaker] When we talk about placements on Facebook, we're referring to where your ads are going to show up on and off the Facebook platform. I'm in one of the ad sets I set up for two trees, olive oil, and in the placements section, placements allow you to choose where your ad will appear across meta. This includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and more. Let's go through the options. First is Advantage Plus placement. This is automatically going to be selected when you create a new ad set. This is formally known as automatic placements. It allows Meta's delivery system to find the best placements for your ad across multiple placements. In the beginning, I recommend sticking to Automatic or Advantage plus placements. This means that Meta is going to do all the learning on your behalf and you give them enough freedom to find the information a lot quicker and cheaper than you manually testing out different placements yourself.
