- [Instructor] Many generations of Visio have included an add-in for building organization charts. In this video, we're going to use it to automatically build an organization chart from data in Excel. Let's take a look at the data source. This workbook includes the minimum requirements for building an org chart from data, namely the column with the employee names and a column with the person to whom each employee reports. It also has some additional data, like Title and Employee Number, but the only two columns that are absolutely required are the Name and Reports To. The other thing we're going to use when we build our organization chart automatically is a set of photos for the employees in the organization. Visio supports the ability to create an org chart and automatically include a photo for each employee.
