- [Instructor] Now that you've set up the foundation of your music database, let's dive into identifying some specific requirements needed to make it functional and effective. So requirements are gathered from stakeholders. To build a useful database, we need to understand what stakeholders, and that is the iMedia team, expect and require from the database. Now, this takes place in the form of interviews and questionnaires. Interviews are conducted with key stakeholders to gather their needs and expectations. Questionnaires are also used to make sure that all of the important aspects are covered. So questions such as what data needs to be stored or how will users interact with the database, or what reports or queries will be needed. These are all very important in shaping the requirements that we are creating for our database. Equally as important is determining the scope of your database.
