- [Male Instructor] The P6 functions that decide which value is right as the performance measurement baseline is the assign baseline form. Here, you're able to select the baseline projects that should be read as the project baseline, or the primary user baselines. Once you've selected these options, select okay. You then go to your project's window, and in the settings tab, looking at the project settings section, you need to ensure that the baseline for earned value calculations is selected correctly, either by the project baseline, or the user's primary baseline. Next, we're going to the admin, admin preferences, and in the earned value tab, for your earned value calculation, you want to make sure to select our completion values, recurring dates, or the budgeted values recurrent dates. It is recommended that you do not select or use budgeted values with planned dates. Go ahead and check these settings in your Primavera P6 system.
