Tracking a surface
- [Instructor] Now it's time to track the surface of the surfboard so we can attach the octopus VoD logo to it. For that, I'm going to use Mocha AE, which is a planar tracker plugin that ships with after effects. Now, this is not a Mocha course, so if you want to learn more about this fantastic tool, you can check their library for more elaborate content. We are just going to use the plugin to help us track the footage and then in the next movie, apply the tracking data to the Octopus comp that we have over here. All right, so I'm going to go all the way down. Scroll in this comp to the stabilized footage, CAF which stands for Content Aware Fields, so this is the comp that we already worked on and remove all the spots. This is the footage that I'm going to use to create the tracking data. So make sure to select this composition, then go under effect Boris FX Mocha and apply the Mocha AE plugin.
