- [Instructor] InDesign does offer you a way to duplicate the current layout that you have, changing the size of the page while still synchronizing the content from one document with another document. But it does require some setup and you really have to know what you're doing of course. Now the first step is to know the page size of your current layout. So I'm going to go up to the file menu and then I'm going to choose documents setup, and from I can see that I have a regular letter-sized document, it's 8 1/2 by 11", I'll just quickly choose okay. Now I need to make sure that I always recognize that starting document here within the pages panel. Now to accomplish this, just click the panel menu, then choose view pages by alternate layout.
