- [Instructor] In this chapter you'll learn how to properly recolor placed images by using swatches straight from Adobe InDesign. This will allow you to accomplish things like this here where I'm currently using a Google map that I have now recolored to look like something like this here. Other colors that are perfectly following along with my brand guidelines. If I were to go ahead and look at my swatches and now edit any of these swatches and change the color, it will also dynamically re color the map that I currently have here in this document. Now, you might be thinking that this is just a way of using fancy transparency effects. Right? Well, guess again. I can actually go ahead and take something like this where I have CMYK images all in CMYK print. And then I can go ahead and turn these into properly defined duotone versions of that same image.
