- [Narrator] One of the things that makes a PDF document accessible is that every item in the document has a tag which identifies what it is and what its purpose is. Now, this applies to all objects and this is important to understand, but many source applications fail to tag paths in a document such as lines, shapes, and borders on tables. This failure generates an error in the PAC 2021 Checker of untagged paths. In this video, I'd like to show you how to fix these errors when they occur. Now, I'm starting here with the PAC Checker open and we're going to be working with the 06_04 file. And I'm going to go ahead and drag this and drop it onto the PAC Checker. Now, this is a typical scenario that you would run into. This particular file I generated from Microsoft Word, I will tell you, I purposefully saved it as a PDF using the Save As method or the Microsoft method because it generates an error of unembedded fonts.
