Introducing Text to Image on the web
- [Instructor] Now that you've had a first introduction to what Adobe Firefly is, it's time to start your first exercise. In this chapter, we'll focus on the Text to Image functionality, which enables you to type in a description of an image, after which, Firefly will generate that image for you. And, yes, it is just as easy as it sounds. However, keep in mind that there are many different tips, best practices, and additional filters you can use to help fine tune the results of your Firefly prompt, all options you'll learn throughout this chapter. Now, to get started, you first go ahead and you open up your favorite web browser, and then navigate to firefly.adobe.com. Then simply use your free Adobe ID or use your existing Creative Cloud membership to log in into the Adobe Firefly webpage. Then, scroll down just a little bit here, and then I'll just click on the Text to Image functionality that you have here. Now when I click that, you'll be brought here to the Text to Image Gallery. Now this gallery is filled with various examples created by artists from around the world that have used the Text to Image functionality before. And if you end up creating an image that you're super proud of, then you, too, can click a button, and then submit your creation to this exact same gallery. Now the reason I'm mentioning the gallery is because you can actually inspect the original prompts that were used to generate these images by simply hovering your mouse cursor over these images here. And then, when you click an example, you actually get to see the same results the original user saw when initially typing in the prompt. Additionally, you can also see what other settings were selected to help generate this image by looking here on the left-hand side. Now you can use this as a guide, like an inspiration, and then to help you understand how the different prompts and settings will help shape the different results you'll get when using Adobe Firefly in the future. Now let's quickly hit the Back button here on the browser to go back to the main command prompt, and I want you to click here, inside of this prompt, to get ready to start typing in your very first description, and this is something that we'll do in the next video.
