- [Narrator] Does it ever feel impossible to design slides that stand out while managing everything else on your plate from funding, sales, marketing, strategy, and so on? The pressure is worse when designing a presentation to get financing or for your stakeholders. With the right approach, you can simplify the process and create presentations that capture attention. Let's go over some best practices. Fonts matter. Legibility is crucial. Make sure that your text is large enough to read and avoid using cursive fonts when possible. Those make it really hard for people to understand what you're saying. Less is more. Don't write a story in your slide. Tell the story. The more text you have on each page, the more time people will spend reading what you actually wrote, instead of listening to you. Guide with visual cues.
