Introducing the concept of Adobe Experience Platform
- [Facilitator] In 2019, Adobe released a new consolidated platform to connect and build new Adobe Experience Cloud applications off of. This natively connected platform is called Adobe Experience Platform, and at the time of this course's recording four applications have been built off of the technology, Customer Journey Analytics, Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Journey Optimizer, and Mix Modeler. Although this course focuses on Customer Journey Analytics, it's helpful to have an understanding of the basics of Experience Platform and each of the applications that sit on top of it. The core of Adobe Experience Platform is twofold, a data lake for ingesting data into data sets and an identity graph for unifying data at the customer profile level of granularity. As you can see, there are several other key aspects of Experience Platform that are shared services across each of the applications that are built on top of it.
