Exploring Customer Journey Analytics-specific metrics
- [Instructor] You've probably been discovering quickly that although Customer Journey Analytics has many similarities to Adobe Analytics, it has some very core fundamental differences that make it unique and significantly more powerful. Let's take some time to focus on several key metrics in Customer Journey Analytics that don't exist in core Adobe Analytics. Several of them are represented in both products, but have been renamed in CJA, whereas others are specific just here. Three core metrics that we've already discussed are events, sessions, and people. Each of these metrics are similar to the metrics of instances, visits, and unique visitors in core Adobe Analytics, although they're also slightly different. As you know, people is an omnichannel metric that de-duplicates data at the person level across data sources. Adobe also provides several other session-related metrics in Customer Journey Analytics.
