The first step for this project is to add a vertical guide at a specific point in the canvas and this can be achieved by going to the view menu and then from guides choose new guide then make sure that vertical is selected and then you type in the required 2000 pixels position so once we click ok this is going to be placed 2000 pixels from the left edge of the canvas and if I press command or control R which is going to show the rulers I can see exactly that's what we got as long as this is set to pixels.
