Using styles

Learning to work with styles in Adobe InDesign is probably the most important skill or knowledge that you can get and the more you use InDesign, the more you will be relying on these to work consistently and to work effectively. Now, the three main categories of styles that you will be using are the character styles, paragraph styles and object styles. And in this document, as you can see, I'm utilizing all three of these categories. Now first of all before we see how they work I just want to make sure you know where to find them so in case you don't see these panels just go to the window menu and under styles you will find them and by the way we also have additional styles like table styles, cell styles and even style packs but we don't actually have to go into these because in the exam these won't be asked about.
