Text flow

Text flow

We already discussed how text threading works but I wanted to talk a little bit more about it and show you a couple of additional features that you need to be familiar with. So first and foremost in this document there's quite a lot of things going on like document grid 12 or 14 columns on each page which makes it really hard to see what's happening so I'm going to just change a couple of settings first going into the view menu I'm going to choose grids and guides and I'm going to hide the baseline grid then I'm also going to hide the guides once again from the same section just choose hide guides and you can also use the command or control semicolon that's the shortcut for this feature and last but not least I also want to see the text threads and to visualize these you would have to go to view extras show text threads so once you have that on and you have one of these text frames selected you will see how the text is flowing from this first spread to the second it's coming in here…
