- Authenticity is a really big topic, because it's collateral as I've been talking about so many of the different pieces of this lesson are. It's collateral when it comes to business. It's collateral when it comes to personal relationship. So a lot of people in business are invested in the idea of authenticity right now. People in the workplace are advocating for bringing your authentic self to work. I mean, turn on your TV and we've seen so many different episodes of reality television. But what is being marketed as reality TV is often raw, and what's being told to us is real is really shock therapy.
