Why use PDF forms?
- [Instructor] Adobe Acrobat's ability to maintain the look and feel of original documents is one of the main reasons so many companies and organizations have adopted the PDF standard. This ability to accurately replicate original documents is why organizations like the IRS have chosen to use the PDF format to distribute tax forms on the web. Anyone who downloads a form from irs.gov and prints it out ends up with the exact same document as someone who goes to the local post office and picks up an original copy of the form. But it's possible to make your forms even easier for your end users to complete. Instead of requiring them to print out the form in order to fill it out, you can use Acrobat DC's form tools to place form fields in your document, enabling the user to fill out the form on screen.
