- [Lecturer] The case for audio does not just boil down to numbers but the numbers alone do make the case. You can take a look at these statistics, look around, people who you know are wearing hearing aids, have trouble hearing, and the world's population is aging. And as it does, the need for audio accessible content is growing as well. Let's review a few dos to keep in mind when leading and evaluating accessible design. First of all, provide text backups for content that relies on audio or visual interpretation. Second, make sure video content has closed captioning. Third, provide transcripts for audio content whenever possible. And finally, give people options to contact you that don't require a phone call. Here are some things to avoid.
