- Landing interviews is fantastic. It's a sure sign that you're marketing yourself in the right way, toward the right positions, and with the right people. Okay, it could also mean that you're darn lucky, but it probably means you're doing a lot right. Now it's time to shift into that slay the interview mode, and that begins well before you walk through their doors, pick up the phone, or hit record on your video interview. Surely you want to go in with a sense of ease and authenticity, versus showing up like some over-rehearsed robot. But behind that ease should be plenty of prep work. Here are four things that I'd do. Number one, research. Research the company, the people you're interviewing with, and any specifics you can get your hands on related to the team, the job, the types of questions they ask their candidates.
