- [Narrator] IaaS, or infrastructure as a service, is a fundamental cloud computing model that provides virtualized computing resources over the internet. This is typically a resource you would normally find in a data center, such as storage, compute, databases, AI, and other common IT resources as well. This is the fastest growing public cloud type with major brands in this market, including AWS, Microsoft, and Google. When people refer to the cloud, they're most likely referring to IaaS cloud providers and these big three. IaaS providers basically offer a dashboard, where you can find and provision any number of service types. These service types include functions in brands, such as different types of storage, different databases, different AI tool sets, et cetera.
