(bright music) - [Instructor] Now during the RRC connection, there are certain instances where because of the failure in a radio link, the RRC connection may get impacted. In that case, we have another term and mechanism, which is RRC connection reestablishment, which can help us to recover the RRC connectivity. The recovery process includes four steps. The first step is the detection of a radio link failure. For example, there's a trigger of failure because of timer expiry. There is certain time associated for any connection to get set up such as timer T310. We'll talk about those timers or maybe the RLC max retransmissions or exceeded certain thresholds.
