Now, we know that there are different bearers which is carrying the actual traffic. We need to have KPIs to measure that and that's where we have another KPI report from the network where we are looking into the success rate again with an example of 99.5% success rate which looks really great. But for the network with millions of connection attempts, that small fraction of failures still impact thousands of users. Now where do we even begin to look? The answer is in the failure breakdown. An OSS report for EREB success rate doesn't just give us a grade, it gives us a map to the problems. The EREB success rate measures our ability to set up the complete data tunnel from the phone to the core network. The overall KPI gives us a health at a glance, but the failure reasons are the diagnosis. In this report, we see 8 million setup attempts with 99.56% success rate. This is strong performance overall.
