Editing timing in the Track Bar timeline
- [Instructor] The track bar, or timeline, displays key frames for selected objects and also allows us to edit those keys in the time dimension. It's called the track bar because it gives access to animation tracks, or channels of animation data such as position and rotation. I'll play back this animation so we can see what it looks like before doing any edits. We've got the camera moving in an arc through the space. I'll stop and rewind that. The key frames for the selected object, in this case the camera, are displayed in the track bar. We can click on key frames to select them. A selected key frame is highlighted in white, and we can just click and drag to move a key frame to a different point in time. I'll move the key frame at frame 70 to an earlier point in time, frame 30, and that'll speed up the first part of the animation. I'll play that back. And it's not very good aesthetically, but it makes my point. I haven't changed the value of the key frame. I've merely changed when…
