Breaking out your render passes
- [Instructor] Okay, so let's break out our render passes, so we have more control over our composite. So, I'm going to work with Camera 2 first. And let's bring our footage up a little bit, so we that we have a little bit more space. I'm just going to put it up into the viewer. So what we want to do is, go over to the Format tab, and under OpenEXRFiles, we can click on this Channels box, to open up all of our channels. And what we want to do is, each one of our passes, we want to push into the red, green, and blue and alpha channels. If we click on red, in this dropdown, you'll see all the passes listed below. So, we just need to swap out for each one. So, let's grab our direct diffuse. So, red, green, and blue. And our alpha, is going to be the matte green. Which is the extra pass that we sent out from Maya. The matte green was the window frame, and the matte red is the glass. So, with the direct diffuse done, let's just copy this node, and then we'll do the same thing for all the…
