- [Narrator] In the previous movie, we began the process of making an image pop, except we're going to use meaningful language, to talk about the process. So, we took the original drawings, and we put a cleanup line over them, or you can use a vector line, or whatever line tool you like. We increase the saturation of the colors, but now let's add some lights. So here is the procedure of adding lights. And it was quite simple working in photoshop, three or four layers, to put a vignette, or a gradient at the edge of the screen, a shadow layer, to show light casting shadows on the back wall of the, space shape here, and here. And this also increases the visual depth of the background. And it pushes these consoles out in 3D space toward us. And then we can add the same to the characters. Now this might or might not be possible, depending on what software and style you use. There's different ways of achieving it.…
