What You'll Do
Assist the veterinarian with patient care and medical procedures
Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats
Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
Support hospitalized patients and monitor their comfort and well-being
Administer treatments and medications as directed
Maintain accurate medical records
Educate clients and help create a positive experience for every visit
Work collaboratively with the entire hospital team to keep daily operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
Experience working with animals is preferred
Veterinary assistant experience is a plus, but not required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Passion for helping pets and the people who love them
