Job Description
As our Senior UX Designer, you'll be at the forefront of our design team, driving the user experience strategy for our innovative real estate technology solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform, ensuring it meets the needs and expectations of our diverse user base.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive user research and discovery to identify pain points and opportunities to improve user and customer workflows and outcomes.
Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
Lead concept development and prototyping sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and refine designs. Experience with AI assisted prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude, Lovable, Vercel or Replit are a plus.
Execute usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.
Leverage and help grow a design system, contributing to its evolution and ensuring consistency across Newmark platforms.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and technical feasibility.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UX design, incorporating new techniques and technologies into our design process.
Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in UX design, with a proven track record of leading complex design projects.
Expertise in Figma for high fidelity design, prototyping, and design handoff.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centric design principles and a range of successful projects.
Experience with design systems and contributing to their development and maintenance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Analytical mindset with experience in user research and data-driven design decisions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Passion for staying updated with industry trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, innovative approach to design challenges.
Salary Range Language:
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
