Company Overview: Our direct client is hiring for a Senior SQL Developer to join their growing development team here in NYC. The organization is a global leader in the music industry. Operating as a mission-driven performing rights organization, they serve as the essential bridge between songwriters and the businesses that use their music to ensure creators are compensated fairly.

Job Details

  • Job Title: Senior SQL Developer
  • Location: Midtown, New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days per week in-office)
  • Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension)
  • Pay Rate: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
  • Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Build and maintain SSIS packages to integrate data across different applications.
  • Perform database optimization through query tuning, indexing management, and schema refinement.
  • Create and maintain APIs and develop solutions for data integration tools such as Microsoft SSIS or Informatica.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in SQL development (MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL).
  • Expertise in writing complex stored procedures with a focus on transaction handling and error management.
  • Proven experience with Data Integration tools, specifically Microsoft SSIS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve organizational data needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Salesforce SSIS connections, or Postgres Administration is a plus.
  • Must be local to NYC and able to work on-site in Midtown three days per week.
