Hala Publishing Group is currently inviting ambitious researchers, academics, scientists, clinicians, and professionals from all disciplines to collaborate in the development and launch of new international peer-reviewed journals under our expanding scholarly publishing ecosystem, as editors in chief.

This opportunity is uniquely designed for individuals who are interested not only in contributing to a journal, but also in actively participating in the conceptualization, scientific direction, and foundational development of a new academic journal from its earliest stages.

Role Overview

The selected collaborator will work alongside Hala Publishing Group in helping develop the journal’s:

* Core scientific concept

* Scope and aims

* Academic positioning

* Editorial vision

* Strategic research direction

* Initial editorial and scientific framework

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking meaningful long-term involvement in scholarly publishing and academic leadership.

Responsibilities

* Participate in developing the journal’s scientific identity and concept

* Assist in defining the journal’s scope, niche, and research focus

* Support the formation of editorial and reviewer networks

* Contribute toward attracting high-quality submissions and collaborations

* Assist with strategic academic growth and visibility initiatives

* Support the journal’s scientific quality and long-term development

* Contribute ideas related to emerging trends and future research directions within the chosen field

Compensation Structure

This is currently a volunteer-based founding position during the journal’s early developmental and pre-indexing phase.

However, collaborators who contribute meaningfully toward the journal’s establishment and growth may later transition into structured compensation models once the journal reaches indexing milestones and introduces Article Processing Charges (APCs).

Potential future compensation models may include:

* Percentage-based APC revenue sharing

* Compensation per published article

* Long-term editorial partnership incentives

* Strategic leadership opportunities within the journal or publishing group

Compensation frameworks will be formally discussed after operational sustainability and indexing milestones are achieved.
