Senior Mechanical Engineer

MTech Mobility is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design, engineering, and lifecycle execution of our Samsung-based mobile point-of-sale (mPOS), kiosk, and connected device platforms.

This role is a senior technical leadership position responsible for owning the mechanical architecture and field performance of hardware that powers TouchTab, MTech’s open POS and payments ecosystem. You’ll work hands-on across product design, ruggedization, compliance, and manufacturing readiness—while collaborating closely with software, payments, and platform teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions at scale.

You will serve as a key technical owner of MTech’s Samsung mPOS platform, ensuring tight integration with Samsung devices, docks, peripherals, and Knox-managed environments. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of mechanical design, platform architecture, and real-world deployment.

What you’ll do:

• Lead mechanical engineering for Samsung mPOS, mobile POS, kiosks, docks, and accessories
• Own hardware design standards, durability, compliance, and field readiness
• Drive new product development from concept through commercialization
• Improve reliability, reduce field issues, and support enterprise deployments
• Partner with product, software, sales, and manufacturing teams to scale hardware platforms

What we’re looking for:

• Deep experience in mechanical engineering for commercial or rugged hardware
• Proven ownership of products deployed at scale
• Strong understanding of lifecycle management, quality, and manufacturing
• Experience working with OEM platforms (Samsung experience a strong plus)
