Senior Manager, Procurement (Operations Support)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and execute procurement activities supporting our operations organization. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for driving sourcing strategy, vendor management, and cost optimization across operational categories.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in procurement supporting operational environments (e.g., data centers, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar) and is comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with operational and business goals
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value beyond price (efficiency, quality, risk reduction)
  
  

Operations Support

• Partner closely with operations teams to understand demand, timelines, and service requirements
• Support procurement for operational categories such as infrastructure, equipment, maintenance services, and related spend
• Ensure timely and reliable support to meet operational needs
  
  

Project Management

• Lead and manage end-to-end procurement projects, including sourcing initiatives, vendor onboarding, and offshore transitions, ensuring delivery against timelines, scope, and business objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear tracking and reporting to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement
  
  

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Establish supplier performance metrics and drive accountability
• Act as a trusted advisor to operations leadership
  
  

Contracting & Commercial Management

• Lead contract negotiations including pricing, SLAs, and commercial terms
• Ensure contracts align with risk, compliance, and business requirements
• Monitor contract performance and manage renewals
  
  

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and scalability
• Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making
• Support implementation of procurement tools and best practices
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• 8–12+ years of procurement/sourcing experience
• Strong experience supporting operations-focused procurement
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end sourcing and supplier negotiations
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in data center, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar operational environments
• Familiarity with categories such as:
• Data center equipment (electrical, mechanical equipment)
• Facilities
• Technical services or infrastructure vendors
• Experience with procurement systems
