The Senior Business Analyst s upports initiatives across the firm, working closely with the Product Management team, software delivery teams, and business stakeholders. The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, deep process understanding, and data informed insight to ensure solutions are effective, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This position requires demonstrated experience operating independently in ambiguous problem spaces, applying judgment to shape analysis, frame problems accurately, and support sound decision making. The Senior Business Analyst contributes analytical depth during discovery, investigates data to inform solution direction, and supports issue resolution and adoption measurement over time.
Responsibilities:
Support and, when appropriate, lead requirements discovery by bringing structure, analytical rigor, and clarity to loosely defined business problems
Analyze business processes, workflows, systems, and data to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
Apply judgment to determine appropriate scope and depth of analysis, balancing completeness with timeliness
Translate complex or ambiguous problems into clear problem statements, findings, and decision relevant insights
Investigate and interpret data from multiple sources to surface patterns, trade offs, and implications for solution direction
Identify and communicate data limitations, quality concerns, or assumptions that may affect conclusions
Collaborate closely with software delivery teams to clarify requirements and maintain shared understanding throughout execution
Produce clear, high quality documentation including analytical findings, functional documentation, and process flows
Support validation, issue resolution, and refinement efforts through structured analysis and problem diagnosis
Contribute to adoption measurement and outcome evaluation by helping define, interpret, and contextualize user metrics

Synthesizes analysis into decision grade insight rather than producing documentation alone

Exercises discretion and judgment in navigating competing priorities, incomplete information, and stakeholder expectations
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Significant experience in business analysis, process analysis, or related analytical roles supporting enterprise system
Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex problems, assess impacts, and surface meaningful insights
Experience working with large or complex data sets, including interpreting findings and limitations rather than focusing solely on data extraction
Proven ability to document and communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences
Experience collaborating with cross functional teams, including product, delivery, and business stakeholders
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
Experience in the financial services or wealth management industry, including exposure to regulated or data sensitive environments
Experience working with Dynamics 365 CE / CRM or comparable enterprise CRM platforms, particularly in analytical, reporting, or process oriented contexts
Familiarity with work management and delivery tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Experience using process and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio or equivalent) to document workflows and system interactions
Exposure to low code or workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate
General familiarity with UI / UX concepts and the ability to review designs with a critical, analytical lens
Exposure to LLM or AI enabled tools, including applying them to analysis, documentation, research, or workflow efficiency
