About Us:

Temu is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for talented individuals committed to helping us achieve our goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of driven individuals dedicated to making a difference in the industry.


Responsibilities:

- Responsible for supporting all parts of our financial reporting process.

- End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.

- Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.

- Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.

- Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.

- Draft technical accounting positions in plain English.

- Manage accounting projects on an ad-hoc basis


Qualifications:

- 4+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.

- Qualified Accountant, (CPA, ACA or equivalent)

- Knowledge of the internal control framework and understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency.

- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills

- Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred.

- Be able to work with multicultural teams and be patient and understanding

- Be able to work with a fast paced start-up


Compensation and Benefits

  • Our compensation structure is designed to align with the cost of labor in various geographic markets across the US. The total salary for this position ranges from $76k to $146k annually, based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, competencies and location.
  • In addition, you may receive benefits depending on the nature of employment, job position, and work location. The benefits that generally apply to regular, full-time employees include:

  2. Paid Time Off (PTO)
  3. Paid Sick Leave (in accordance with applicable state and local laws)
