What You’ll Do
As a Sales & Applications Engineer, you’ll be at the center of our customer experience—connecting technical expertise with practical solutions. You’ll work closely with customers, manufacturer reps, and our internal teams to turn needs into engineered solutions that deliver real value.
In This Role, You Will
Develop accurate, timely proposals in partnership with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams
Analyze customer applications and recommend the right product sizing, configuration, and performance solutions
Manage and support the quoting process, CRM (HubSpot), and sales-related documentation
Partner with customers throughout the sales cycle—from initial inquiry to final order
Translate customer needs into detailed order packages for Engineering and Production
Support engineer-to-order projects and serve as a technical resource across the organization
Provide technical support to outside sales, manufacturer reps, and service teams
Contribute to new product development efforts as the voice of the customer
Assist with marketing materials, sales training content, and internal knowledge sharing
Travel occasionally for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events
What You Bring
You’re a problem solver with a strong technical foundation and a passion for working directly with customers. You enjoy digging into details, asking the right questions, and finding solutions that work in the real world.
Required
3+ years of relevant experience in engineering, technical sales, or applications engineering
Strong communication and customer engagement skills
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and application requirements
Experience working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
Experience in B2B technical sales environments
Experience in Oil & Gas industry
Familiarity with manufacturer representative channels or international sales
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings
