About the Company



InX is growing in the US, and we’re hiring a Researcher or Senior Researcher to join our New York team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in executive search and is motivated by high-quality, insight-led research rather than high-volume recruitment.



About the Role



If you enjoy the research side of search and want progression within that path, this is a strong opportunity. This is not a transactional recruitment role. You’ll be embedded in a true executive search model, working closely with Partners on senior mandates and gaining exposure to the full search lifecycle.



Responsibilities



  • Client kick-off calls to understand full role requirements and context
  • Building search strategies and identifying target companies and talent pools
  • Proactive candidate outreach (LinkedIn, cold calling, and innovative sourcing approaches)
  • Screening and qualifying candidates before introducing them to the Partner for second-stage conversations
  • Bi-weekly client update meetings, where progress reports and candidate pipelines are presented


You’ll see the entire search process through, gaining real insight into how senior hiring decisions are made.

Required Skills



  • Develop a strong understanding of your market and emerging trends
  • Build and nurture candidate pools with a structured, long-term approach
  • Provide data-driven insights, candidate pipelines, and target company lists

As a Senior Researcher, you will also:



  • Demonstrate deep expertise in your market
  • Own a robust strategy for growing executive-level talent pools
  • Share value-add market intelligence that supports wider business development efforts


Pay range and compensation package



The team covers senior roles within consulting and professional services, including:



  • Digital, AI, Data
  • Supply Chain & Procurement
  • Human Capital / HR Consulting
  • Tax and Legal Services within Consulting
  • Strategy and Transactions


You’ll work closely with experienced Partners who specialise across these areas.
