Power BI Developer

Job Title : Power BI Developer

Long Term Contract

Location: Denver, Colorado, (Onsite or Relocate to Colorado Location)

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders and data analysts

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

• Build and maintain reusable semantic data models

• Develop DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs

• Connect and integrate data from APIs, SQL databases, BigQuery, Excel, ArcGIS, and streaming datasets

• Implement row-level and column-level security in Power BI

• Optimize report and dashboard performance using DAX Studio and Power BI performance tools

• Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service, including refresh schedules and access controls

• Collaborate with integration and business teams to improve reporting workflows and data processes

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, and Data Modeling

Expertise in Power BI Service and dashboard/report development

Experience with SQL, APIs, Excel, BigQuery, and ArcGIS integrations

Knowledge of Tabular Editor and Best Practice Analyzer

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience optimizing large datasets and report performance

Familiarity with AI tools and Google AI technologies is a plus
